Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Jody became interested in pottery through her best friend. Jody studied all Her work has been displayed in galleries in Little Rock, Fort Smith, and Heber Springs and in arts festivals in Fayetteville, Heber Springs, Little Rock, Bentonville, Conway, and Mountain View. Jody continues to innovate through her raku creations. Her torsos, masks, platters and other artwork are all hand-built and raku fired in a raku kiln of her own design. Jody currently resides in Heber Springs on the Little Red River with her husband, son and daughter.
