For Morgan Coven, a mother of three young boys, living and working from her home in Sherwood, Arkansas can often be a delightful challenge. Fueled by the desire to share art with others, coupled with the encouraging support from her husband Matthew, she continues to create a special place in her chaotic schedule. After studying a multitude of art courses from interior design to graphic design and most things in between, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Since that time, watching her own children grow and delight in so many wonderfully small things has been the inspiration to then turn and capture those spontaneous moments on canvas. Her portraiture can be described as loose interpretations of the actual child, the focus being directed to the emotion and motion of the activity captured. Mostly working with her fingertips, Morgan saves any brushwork for the small details of the painting.
